There are two tips (but you > know those): *start low (5 mg max.) and go slow* and *have a benzo on > the side to take as needed during the weaning process*. Howdy... Yeah, I know those... But was hoping that since I do not lurk a whole lot any more that MAYBE, just MAYBE someone had found something new - like if you repeat the alphabet backwards three times a day then you can remove all side effects. Hey, has anyone tried that? I am willing to try almost anything these days. Z...Y....X.... Um.... Damn... Never was good at doing that.... Anyway, I assume it is the same with lexapro, which, after talking to my doc, I am going to try. Start slow and keep my lorazapam handy. Not that the benzo has been doing much for me other than making me feel drugged out recently. Has been one rough couple of weeks for me. Today is still a bit rough, but MUCH better than the last couple days. They say lexapro takes less time to take effect. I hope so.
